Message

In today's rapidly developing information society, it is not rare for people to decide their own actions by thinking strategically about the actions of others, from daily life to economy and politics. One example is why shopping centers and restaurants are so concentrated rather than scattered throughout the city.

On the other hand, in some cases, decisions are made by the interdependence of multiple decision-making bodies, such as people-to-people relationships or trade negotiations between countries.

My specialty is game theory, which is a study using mathematical models, especially Nash equilibrium problem and its extended version, multi-leader follower game, and equilibrium constraint problem with equilibrium constraint.

Now that we are entering an era in which information and society are intertwined in a variety of ways, my other research theme is to extract useful information from vast amounts of data, especially for sports health and medical data, data processing analysis using the latest data analysis technology.

We hope that those who intend to enter The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics will become experts in applied information technology who can solve various problems in the information society.
