The Board of Directors and General Assembly of the Kyoto Prefectural Institute of Approval and Kyoto Information Industry Association (Kyotokyo) have recently been held, and the chairman of KCGI / Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) Wataru Hasegawa, General Director, has been reappointed.Chairman Hasegawa is in his third term, and his term of office is two years up to March 31, 2012.
The association consists of companies related to the information industry in the prefecture, and currently has about 70 members.The secretariat is located in front of KCG Kyoto Station.The purpose is to contribute to improving the lives of the citizens of Kyoto by developing various businesses related to the spread and utilization of information-related technologies and promoting the computerization of local communities.Specific activities are based on IT know-how and human resources owned by members.

▽ Open seminars and workshops on today's themes including information and communication technologies
▽ Promoting IT revitalization business in Kyoto through collaboration with regional information related organizations nationwide

Chairman Hasegawa took office in March 2006.We focused on expanding the association and promoting the business.Since October 2006, he has also served on the board of the National Association of Regional Information Industry Associations (ANIA), a national association of information-related associations consisting of similar prefecture-approved associations.
