The developer group of the holding machine visited the KCG Museum

On March 6 (Wednesday), the Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) Kyoto Station School, which stores a large number of actual historical computers and receives the first distributed computer museum certification from the Information Processing Society of Japan Former employees of JBCC Co., Ltd., who are involved in computer design and development, visited the “KCG Museum”.People who were involved in the development of Toshiba's TOSBAC-1100 and TOSBAC-1200, which were held in the same museum, came to the museum to see once again the real thing of their passionate machine in their youth.

Developers are guided by the director of Kyoko Hasegawa and looked at TOSBAC-1100 and TOSBAC-1200 placed on the first floor of the Kyoto Station school. He looked at the details and took pictures, and surrounded the machine and made flowers bloom in old tales.

Afterwards, Gakuin Hasegawa and the developers talked about computers and various secret stories came out. There are four beds at the development site, but instead of talking about taking a nap there, the story goes into development, especially in the room where the important machines are placed, the air conditioner only enters the room where the hot season is cool, etc. I had a hard time.“I'm really happy to see that the machines we developed are preserved.”I felt like I was reunited with my son for the first time in 40 years. ”
