Professor Toshihide Ibaraki will take office as the third President of KCGI on April 1, 2010.The term of office is for two years, ending March 31, 2012.
The decision was made by the Board of Directors of Kyoto Joho Gakuen, the school corporation that operates KCGI.

B.S., Kyoto University; M.S., Electronic Engineering, Kyoto University; Ph.He specializes in mathematical engineering (algorithms, optimization).Professor Emeritus, Kyoto University.He has served as Dean of the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, Research Fellow at the University of Illinois, Professor at Toyohashi University of Technology, and Professor at Kwansei Gakuin University.Professor at KCGI since April 2009.He is a Fellow of the ACM, the Operations Research Society of Japan, the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers, the Information Processing Society of Japan, and the Japanese Society for Applied Mathematics.
