In a program titled "Onmyoji: Harakete the Darkness of Heian-kyo," a thorough investigation of Onmyoji who were active during the Heian period, Professor Sakka explained that "it is an important job of Onmyoji to quickly detect and decipher natural disasters, which are warnings from the heavens against political upheavals," and that there is a record in the "Nihon Kisaku" of a natural disaster that Onmyoji observed, and it was actually Halley's Comet.
