Chinese Students and Others Raise Over 250,000 Yen in Street Donations

Chinese students from KCGI conducted a three-day street fund-raising campaign from May 14-16 in the Kyoto Tower area of Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, to help the victims of the earthquake in Qinghai Province, China, which struck in April and caused extensive damage, as well as the local community in the recovery effort.We will soon donate the money to Yushu County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Provinc

Chinese students from KCGI will hold a street fund-raising campaign in the Kyoto Tower area in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 14-16, 2010, in order to help the victims of the earthquake that struck Qinghai Province, China, in April 2010, which caused great damage, as well as the local reconstruction efforts.We appreciate your cooperation.

We will exhibit at Embedded Technology West 2010 on Thursday, June 17 and Friday, June 18.

The Engineering Department of Kyoto Computer Gakuin, a group school of Kyoto Computer Gakuin, will exhibit at Embedded Technology West 2010/ Embedded Technology Expo Kansai, the only exhibition and conference in western Japan dedicated to embedded systems.

KCG's booth will introduce its curriculum and student works.

TUAT Supervisor Hasegawa Reappointed as Chairperson of the Kyoto Environment Association

The Board of Directors and General Assembly of the Kyoto Information Industry Association (KIIA), an incorporated association approved by the Kyoto Prefectural Government, recently held a meeting and reappointed Wataru Hasegawa, Director General of KCGI/Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), as its chairman.President Hasegawa is serving his third two-year term, which ends March 31, 2012.

From a Learning Center Full of Memories to the Forefront of IT A Sunny Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony

With many memories in his heart, he moved to the forefront of the IT industry.The 2009 KCGI degree conferment ceremony and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) graduation ceremony were held on March 20, 2009, at the Kyoto Station Satellite Hall of the Kyoto Institute of Information Science.

Presentation of 2009 Course Completion Projects

At The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), in the second year of the second year, we will work on a course completion project that can be called the culmination of knowledge acquired so far.The project for the completion of the course has the same significance as a master's thesis in a conventional research graduate school in terms of the awarding of degrees.

On February 8 and 9, the final project presentations for this year's program were held. Group and individual presentations were made and critiqued by the supervising professors and others.
