October 1 is the census.

This census is an important statistical survey to learn about the "present" of Japan, a society with a declining population, and to build a better future.

The census is conducted in the place where you usually live, so many students who live alone away from their parents in student dormitories or boarding houses may be experiencing the census for the first time.

Now that summer vacation is over and you'll be busy with academics, etc., please don't forget to answer these questions correctly!
