Embedded Software Development Training Course" will start

From November 4, 2009 (Wednesday), "Embedded Software Development Engineer Training Department" commissioned by Kyoto Prefecture will be held at The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics Kyoto Station Satellite.

This course is conducted on behalf of Kyoto Prefecture as a short-term job training course to support reemployment of job seekers.Applications will be accepted through Hello Work (Public Employment Security Offices) in Kyoto Prefecture, so please check the application guidelines and contact Hello Work if you are interested in taking the course.

CG Animation Contest & CG AniCup will be held on September 26 (Sat.) and 27 (Sun.)!

On September 26 (Sat.) and 27 (Sun.), "The 21st CG Animation Contest Winning Works Screening" and "CG AniCup Japan-France Friendship Match" will be held at Kyoto Ekimae Satellite, Kyoto Institute of Information Science.

The CG Animation Contest has the longest tradition in Japan and is one of the largest CG animation contests in the country, producing many top creators who are active in Japan and abroad.

The screening will also feature a talk show by Yasuhiro Yoshiura, director of "Time of Eve" and also involved in the production of "Rebuild of Evangelion: 2.0".

October 25 Seminar for School Teachers to Support "Information" Classes

TUAT has conducted seminars and other activities to support high school teachers.Based on these achievements, the following program has been adopted this year by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) as a training program for improving the teaching ability of science and mathematics teachers, continuing on from the previous year.We will hold a seminar to support "Information" classes as follows.We look forward to your participation.We would be happy to inform interested teachers.

KCG Summer Course (short-term intensive course) will be open to the public!

Kyoto Computer Gakuin, one of our group schools, will offer a summer course this summer.The Summer Course is a "short-term intensive course" offered to the general public during the summer vacation period.Experienced faculty members teach courses with unique content unique to KCG.

NAIS Special Lecture on July 31, "Universities and Operations Research

The NAIS Special Lecture will be held on July 31st (Friday) at The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics Kyoto Station Satellite as follows.Dr. Atsuo Suzuki, Professor, Department of Information Systems and Mathematics, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Nanzan University, will give a lecture on "Universities and OR (Operations Research)".We look forward to your participation.
