Announcement of 2007 Course Completion Project Presentations

At The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), in the second year of the second year, we will work on a course completion project that can be called the culmination of knowledge acquired so far.The project for the completion of the course has the same significance as a master's thesis in a conventional research graduate school in terms of the awarding of degrees.

Two TUFS students presented their research at the International Conference on CIO

On Thursday, November 22, 2007, two of our second-year students, Koichi Matsukawa and Yasushi Hakumitsu, presented their research at the "2007 International CIO Society Fall Conference" held at Waseda University.

Under the title of "A Study of ERP Consultant Education Based on IT Skill Standards," Matsukawa and Bai reported on the results of a survey and analysis of the current status of education and training for ERP consultants and customer satisfaction at user companies, and proposed improvements to education for skill acquisition, which they believe is currently problematic.

kcg.edu, Jeju National University, Korea, JITA, and ANIA sign MOU

On Wednesday, November 7, 2007, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics/Kyoto Computer Gakuin University (kcg.edu/Japan), National Jeju National University (Korea), Jeju IT Association (JITA/Korea), and National Association of Regional Information Industries (ANIA/Japan) signed a memorandum of understanding on business promotion cooperation in Jeju Province, Korea.

In the future, the four parties will cooperate in the development of human resources in order to promote the exchange of human resources between Japan and Korea.

Seminar for supporting "Information" classes for high school teachers will be held on November 17 (Sat.).

For teachers in charge of the subject "Information" in high schools

TUAT has conducted seminars and other activities to support high school teachers.Based on these achievements, the following program was adopted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) as a training program for improving the teaching skills of teachers of science and mathematics, and the first training was held on August 11, 2012.

Three students have already passed the "SAP Certified Consultant Exam" this year!

On Friday, September 14, the "SAP Certified Consultant" examination was held at the West Japan branch of SAP Japan, and three second-year students from Kyoto University of Information Sciences passed the exam.Our students, who come from a variety of backgrounds, will leave for the world as advanced IT professionals who need knowledge of both IT and management.
