At the KCGI Kyoto Ekimae Satellite, Kyoto Prefecture has been offering the "Website Production Course," a job training course (core human resource development course) to support job seekers in finding new employment, since November 2, 2011.The schedule covers a total of 360 hours over a 90-day period ending March 29, 2012.
The purpose of the program is to train personnel who are capable of strategically designing websites and negotiating with vendors regarding their production, as well as personnel with a wide range of knowledge about website utilization and strategy.KCGI faculty members, who are experts in IT, provide careful guidance.
The lectures are as follows
Lectures (including exercises): Internet, Network Basics, Web Programming Basics-Applications, Web Business, Strategy and Marketing, Customer, Procurement and Business Management Methods Using IT, Project Management Techniques, Statistical and Analytical Methods
Practical training (including lectures and explanations) = Web programming basics to applications (HTML5, PHP, JavaScript), site design and construction, database, user interface development (for smartphones)
