We have been holding seminars to support high school teachers.We are pleased to announce that the Information Classroom Support Seminar will be held under the auspices of the Information Pedagogy Study Group (IEC) and co-sponsored by the University of Tokyo as follows.Please feel free to join us.We would also appreciate it if you could inform interested teachers.

December 25 (Sat) Information Class Support Seminar

(1) E-books and e-textbooks
The title has been changed.(Formerly titled: The Future of E-books)
Lecturer: e-communication consortium, Ohm-sha, Masaki Mori
Faced with the challenges of "diversification and globalization" in the 21st century, communication using advanced information and communication technologies (ICT) in such situations as teleconferencing, education, and publishing is becoming increasingly important for its healthy progress.Therefore, I will give a lecture on the future of electronic books, which will be the basis of e-Learning, remote lectures, and electronic textbooks.

(2) Impact of the total cloud computing in schools - (conventional system).vs.Cloud Systems) - Who wins? Compare with the "Communication Book" after 6 months of operation.
The title has been changed.(Formerly titled: The Impact of School Cloud Computing)
Lecturer: Professor Haruki Inoue, Shizuoka University
In order to improve the cost-effectiveness of information investment, the shift to cloud computing environment by using software and information devices has become a hot topic.We will share our understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of using cloud computing, and report and widely discuss practices that can maintain a sustainable information environment as a school operation.

E-book and E-learning / School Cloud Computing and Network Multiversity
Lecturer: Kyoto Institute of Information Graduate University, Associate Professor Koji Ueda, Associate Professor Keiji Emi
We will report on the possibilities of e-books in the e-learning program we are working on in the kcg.edu group, and give a hands-on introduction to e-book creation.You can create and edit epub files by using freeware "sigil", and view them on iPad.We then report on the potential for school cloud computing from network multiversity.
