KCG and KCGI concluded an agreement with National University of Hue and others in Vietnam

Kyoto Computer Graduate Institute (KCG) and Kyoto Graduate Institute of Information (KCGI) signed an inter-university exchange agreement with Vietnam's National Hue University (HU) on April 20, 2020.KCGI has also signed a separate agreement for academic joint planning with the university.In view of the worldwide spread of the new coronavirus, the memorandum of agreement signed by Dr. Wataru Hasegawa, President of KCG Group, and Dr. Toshihide Ibaraki, President of KCGI, was sent to Hue University by EMS (Express Mail Service) on March 18.The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) arrived two weeks later than scheduled due to the new coronavirus in Vietnam, and was signed by President Nguyen Quang Linh of the University on April 20.

The purpose of this agreement is to promote exchange programs between KCG/KCGI and Hue University, as well as research and educational cooperation between the professors of the two universities.On April 6, we also signed a similar agreement with the National University of Danang (UD) in Vietnam.

The KCG Group has been actively promoting exchanges with universities in Vietnam since Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, who has served as President of the Hanoi National University of Technology (VNU-UET) and other positions, became Vice President of KCGI.In December 2019, KCGI signed an inter-university exchange agreement with VNU-UET.
