A game created by Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) digital game students was used as a key element in the storyline of the popular TV drama "Sidekick season 20" on November 3, 2021 (Wednesday).
In the fourth episode, "Gift Words," which aired on the same day, a charismatic game creator becomes a suspect in a murder case. The students' work was chosen as a key element in the story, a creation that will delight fans around the world, and a play that will make viewers think deeply about the philosophy of work and freedom.
KCG has cooperated in the production of many movies and TV dramas by providing IT-related advice, digital-related works, and location shooting at school buildings. The reason why we were able to provide game titles to "Partners" this time was because we cooperated with the TV Asahi affiliate drama Thursday Mystery "IP - Cyber Investigation Team" in August.
