The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin
At the beginning, KCGI President Toshihide Ibaraki delivered his ceremonial address.He said, "You are on your own" as a gift to incoming students: "It means 'Do as you please, you are free to do as you please,' but there is also a nuance behind it that says, 'You alone must bear all of your own responsibility.He encouraged the students to find out for themselves what they want to do in the future, make friends, absorb knowledge, gain various experiences, and have a fruitful time while they are in school.
In response, Mr. Jang Jian-lao, a new student at KCGI, made a strong pledge on behalf of the new students: "Under the guidance of our teachers and seniors, we will strive to grow every day, aiming to cultivate 'rich creativity' as well as specialized knowledge and skills to contribute to the realization of an ideal information society.The new students took their first steps as members of the kcg.edu group.
