
On November 17, 2024, Kyoto College of GIS (KCGI) concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tribhuvan University (TU) Makawanpur Multiple Campus (MMC) in Nepal.We will work together to jointly develop educational and research projects, exchange faculty and students, and hold symposiums and seminars.
KCGI Vice President Hoichi Domochi Gary and MMC Principal Yam Silwal signed the MOU at MMC in Nepal on this day.Also in attendance were Assistant Professor Ananda Nepal, Director of the International Student Recruitment Office at KCGI, MMC Chair Aanand Prasad Paudel, Vice Chair Ashok Shakya, and Institute Chair Uttam Aryal.Assistant Professor Nepal is a former international student at KCGI from the same country.At MMC, Vice President Tsuchimochi gave a special lecture on "Next Generation Educational Paradigm Shift" and Assistant Professor Nepal gave a special lecture on "Society 5.0.
On the same day, Vice President Tsuchimochi and his team also visited Modern Nepal College (MNC), which is also affiliated with TU.MNC Principal Kiran Dongol and others discussed the collaboration between KCGI and MNC and agreed to sign an MOU at the next meeting.In the future, we will consider, among other things, the possibility of MNC's Bachelor of Business Administration to pursue a Master of Information Technology degree at KCGI.
Tribhuvan University (TU), founded in 1959, is Nepal's oldest and largest national university.It has produced many excellent human resources and contributed to the modernization and development of the country.KCG Group has been active in exchanges with Nepalese universities, concluding a university exchange agreement with TU Central Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (TU-CDCSIT) in July 2022 and with TU-Mechi Multiple Campus in January 2024.
