Invitation to Applied Informatics

From March 23, 2015, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) will be giving lectures on universities and other lectures online at JMOOC (Japan Massive Open Online Courses, operated by the Japan Massive Open Online Education Promotion Council). "Invitation to applied informatics-from business management to animation" will be distributed.By April 26th, we are planning to deliver lectures on the four themes of ▽ Informatics of life infrastructure ▽ Informatics of corporate management ▽ Informatics of animation ▽ Informatics of human resources development- Currently recruiting students on JMOOC is.

The purpose of the lecture is to understand how ICT is applied in the real world, and in particular about the advantages and disadvantages of ICT in various businesses.

Navigation Toshihide Ibaraki

Week 1: Life-based informatics March 23rd ~ Lecturer: Junji Emi
Lectures on basic contents of information and communication technology (ICT) such as digitization, database, network, cloud computing, modeling, etc. through familiar examples.

Week 2: Informatics of Corporate Management March 30th ~ Lecturer: Harufumi Ueda
Explaining the information system used in a company, taking the manufacturing industry as an example, and giving a lecture on the ideal corporate system from a management perspective.

3rd week: Informatics of anime April 3rd ~ Lecturer: Saoko Nana
Lectures on how anime production has changed since it was digitized, and what business model it will become in the age of video site dissemination.

Week 4: Informatics of human resource development April 10th ~ Lecturer: Toshio Okamoto
With the development of information and communication technology, e-learning has become a familiar tool for human resource development.Lectures on human resource development using e-learning.

Toshihide Ibaraki Current position: President, Kyoto University of Information Sciences

Junji Emi Current position: Associate Professor, Kyoto University of Information Studies
Career: Graduated from Kyoto University, obtained Ph.D. (Human / Environmental Science) from Kyoto University, then worked as a lecturer at Kyoto Computer Gakuin and a full-time lecturer at Kanazawa Institute of Technology.He also teaches at Fujian Normal University.ET Robocon Kansai district executive committee chairman. Specialties: Object-oriented modeling, instructional design in e-learning, web display of mathematical formulas MathML, etc.
