
The Kyoto Computer Guraduate Institute of Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) exhibited at JAPAN EXPO held at the Nord Villepinte Exhibition Hall in Paris, France on July 3-6, 2025.A booth was set up in collaboration with ESTIAM (École supérieure des technologies de l'information appliquées aux métiers), a French university with which we have a friendly relationship.In addition to school introductions, events were held for visitor participation, and the event was crowded with many people every day.
JAPAN EXPO is a comprehensive Japan-related exposition held in France every July, and is known as one of the world's largest Japan-related events, attracting approximately 250,000 visitors each year.
Among the participatory events at the kcg.edu x ESTIAM booth, the shuriken darts was so popular that there was a line of people waiting to play.In the manga contest, 6 to 12 participants in each session drew pictures with markers in their sketchbooks according to the designated theme and showed their creativity to win top prizes.In the manga quiz, participants answered questions in real time using a quiz application and competed for points.Among the visitors were junior high school students who expressed a desire to study in Kyoto and to enter ESTIAM and study at KCGI.

In addition to figures, manga magazines, and the latest video games, visitors experienced the "now" and "traditions" of Japan through sales of Japanese sake and bonsai, and hands-on activities such as shiatsu, tea ceremony, and calligraphy.
