The astronomers of the KCG Group have taken an in-depth look at a major event in history that is shrouded in mystery from the perspective of astronomy.

The Emperor's abdication case (986 Kanwa 2), in which the Emperor Hanayama is said to have been ordained by taking advantage of a natural disaster. In reality, however, it was not a celestial event but an astronomical phenomenon in which Alpha Libra and Jupiter approached each other abnormally, and the Yin-Yang master Abe Seimei is said to have joined the coup d'état of Fujiwara Kaneya without reporting it to the court.Professor Sakka analyzed and explained this theory based on the data of constellations in the Heian period.

Professor Sakka is currently teaching a course on "Data Science" at KCGI.
