
Kyoto International Manga/Anime Fair (KYOMAF) 2025, one of the largest manga/anime events in western Japan, was jointly organized by Kyoto Computer Guraduate School of Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 at the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Promotion Hall (Miyako Messe), Rohm Theater Kyoto and Kyoto International Manga Museum.The KCG Group set up a booth on the first floor of the Miyakomesse venue and held a "Liquid Tablet Experience Workshop" where participants could color the KCG mascot character "Kyokotan" using an LCD pen tablet to create an original fan.Many people participated in the event, and fans were sold out quickly.Beginners also enjoyed the experience with the careful support of the student staff.Workshop participants also received a "Kyokotan" clear file as a gift.
KYOMAFU is held every year to promote the contents industry, foster the development of manga and anime artists, and send their works overseas.The venue was filled with excitement from start to finish as many fans came to enjoy their favorite character goods and exhibits.According to the organizers, the two-day event was a great success with 36,143 visitors.
The KCG Group will continue its efforts to contribute to the industry by cooperating in the organization of events such as KYOMAFU, while working to develop the human resources required by the industry.
