Collaboration with the Kyoto Prefectural Police in a class on information ethics

Mr. Yuji Kondo from the Kyoto Prefectural Police Cyber Crime Countermeasures Department gave a lecture in the "Information Ethics Special" class on Thursday, January 15, 2015.“Information ethics specialization” is an omnibus-style subject that discusses ethical issues peculiar to the advanced information society. Mr. Kondo talks about the current state of cybercrime from a practical standpoint. I received it.In Kyoto, where many universities are located, there are many cases in which international students who do not know Japanese law are involved in illegal bank transfer.At the Kyoto Prefectural Police, in order to protect international students from being involved in cybercrime, we develop security pamphlets and electronic picture-story shows and conduct enlightenment activities, and our international students cooperate in translation and dubbing.This lecture was realized based on such cooperation.
