KCG Group (The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics Kyoto Computer Gakuin Etc.) Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair (Kyo Mafu) 2013 "(Sponsored by the same executive committee / Kyoto City) will be held on September 7th (Sat) and 8th (Sun) at Kyoto Kogyokan (Miyako Messe).The KCG Group will hold a forum to commemorate the establishment of the "Kyoto Society of Manga and Anime Studies" (7th), as well as various other related events.Please come and visit us.

  • Summary: From the past to the future... 24 years since its debut.CLAMP is a popular manga artist who continues to demonstrate his diverse talents.From "Magic Knight Rayearth" and "Card Captor Sakura" that everyone has been crazy about to "Drag & Drop" (Kadokawa Shoten, Young Ace) and "xxxHOLiC Return Rei" (Kodansha, Young Magazine), the exhibition of CLAMP's works will be held in Kyoto! The social game "Card Captor Sakura: Sakura and the Mysterious Card" and "Haken Anime" by Fukazuki Tsujimura, serialized in Magazine House's "an-an", are also in the works!The exhibition is packed with highlights, including many illustrations that are being shown for the first time at the exhibition, such as the illustrations for the book "The Tale of the Tiger" and the book "The Tale of the Tiger".

  • Summary: "Magic Knight Rayearth" was serialized in "Nakayoshi" magazine in November 1993, and a TV animation began broadcasting the following year.Card Captor Sakura" was first serialized in "Nakayoshi" magazine in June 1996, and its TV animation began airing in 1998.Both of these works have been extremely popular with many fans for nearly 20 years.The original creator, CLAMP, is still at the forefront of the industry and continues to produce many hit works, always attracting a new generation of young fans.This event is for fans of all ages to enjoy together.

(iii) 「ライブペインティング」

  • Venue: KCG booth at Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair 2013 in Kyoto Municipal Kangyo Kan
  • Summary: Under the theme of "Kyoto x IT x Manga Anime (characters)," illustrator Koji drew pictures on a large wall by hand, while Choko Fuji drew pictures on a computer with a pen tab.The two paintings completed over two days by the fusion of digital and analog will be combined at the end of the exhibition.The completed illustrations will be used in the package design of scarves, yatsuhashi bridges, cookies, and other products.
  • Profile of performers
    • Hiroshi: His main style is watercolor painting, mainly using acrylic paints.After regularly contributing illustrations to magazines, he made his debut in "Tactex" (published by Hobby Japan).He has created numerous illustrations for novels and magazine covers, including the "Cocoon World" series by Sho Tomono and the "Wind Song: The Way of the Stars" series by Shinobu Saeki, as well as package art and character design for video games.He has also participated in the "Shiga Annual '99 Contemporary Imagination Painters Exhibition" held at the Museum of Modern Art, Shiga in 1999, and the "100 Painters Exhibition" held annually at Akihabara UDX since 2011 in Kyoto and Sendai in Japan, and in Taipei, Taiwan overseas.He is also active in the painting trade, holding solo exhibitions and exhibiting at illustrator festivals.His collections include "Premonition" (Hobby Japan), "Shell Color" (Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko), and "Little Wing" (Asahi Sonorama).
    • Choko Fuji: Born in Chiba, Japan in 1990.He is mainly involved in book illustrations and card game illustrations.Recent major works include "Bamboo Manga" tablet by Wacom, costume design for "Bravely Default Flying Fairy" for 3DS (SQUARE ENIX), illustrations for "R.O.D REHABILITATION" (original story by Hideyuki Kurata), and "Miss Fabre's Mushino Araen" by Junpei Monokusa (Dengeki Bunko).In 2012, he held a solo exhibition "Fuji Shiki 2012 - Let the rainbow dwell in your painting.The "-" was held.

  • Summary: A karaoke contest for visitors to participate in, held after the end of KYOMAFU.The splendid guests and judges participated in the competition.Anime and Vocaloid lovers gather and enjoy singing with guests.
