Going into the Rough Seas of Society with Skills and Knowledge in Hand - Fall 2010 Degree Conferral and Graduation Ceremony

The The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) Degree Ceremony and Kyoto Computer Academy (KCG) Graduation Ceremony in the first half of 2010 were held on September 15 at the Kyoto Ekimae Satellite Hall in Kyoto, and learned together with the KCG group. Friends who had enough knowledge learned from the rough seas of society and began to nest.

KCGI President Toshihide Ibaraki presented the diplomas of "Master of Information Technology (Professional)" to the graduates, and the diplomas to the KCG graduates were presented by their respective principals.The KCG and KCGI awards for excellence were then presented to the graduates and alumni.

In his address, President Ibaraki said, "You will be active in the world of technology, but you may not always succeed, and you may even fail.However, at that time, I hope you will use your own wisdom to solve the problem.He offered words of encouragement such as, "There is never a problem that cannot be solved.

On behalf of the graduates and alumni, Mr. Chen Si, a graduate of KCGI's Graduate School of Applied Information Technology, said, "It was a great asset for me to learn how to view things from both technical and business perspectives, and to grow through friendly competition with my classmates who have various careers and international students from various countries.I would like to make the most of the knowledge and skills I have acquired and contribute to society as an information technology engineer active in the advanced information society. I would also like to contribute to the further development of my alma mater, Kyoto Institute of Information Science, and Kyoto Computer Gakuin as a member of the alumni," he said in his graduation address.At the end of the event, all attendees sang "Light of Fireflies" together.
