Entering the rough seas of society with skills and knowledge - 2010 Fall Degree Conferral and Graduation Ceremonies

The The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) Degree Ceremony and Kyoto Computer Academy (KCG) Graduation Ceremony in the first half of 2010 were held on September 15 at the Kyoto Ekimae Satellite Hall in Kyoto, and learned together with the KCG group. Friends who had enough knowledge learned from the rough seas of society and began to nest.

Mr. Toshihide Ibaraki, President of KCGI, conferred the degree of "Master of Information Technology (Professional)" to the graduates, and each principal conferred the diploma to the KCG graduates.Following the ceremony, the graduates and alumni who were selected for the KCG and KCGI Excellence Awards were honored.

In his ceremonial address, President Ibaraki said, "You are going to be active in the world of technology, but you may not always succeed, and you may end up failing.However, I hope that you will use your own wisdom to solve the problem.There is never a problem that cannot be solved," and other words of encouragement.

As a representative of the graduates, Mr. Chen Shih of KCGI Graduate School of Applied Information Technology said, "It was a great asset for me to learn how to look at things from both technical and business perspectives, and to grow through friendly competition with my classmates who have various careers and international students from different countries.I would like to contribute to society as an information engineer who can play an active role in an advanced information society by making the best use of the knowledge and skills I have acquired, and I would like to contribute to the further development of my alma mater, Kyoto Institute of Information and Kyoto Computer Institute, as a member of the alumni.At the end, all the attendees sang "Hotaru no Hikari" together.
