The symposium will have themes such as "Regulation for Meaningful Connections" and "Net Neutrality after 10 Years," and Professor Tateishi will speak on "Rethinking Funding Models for Universal and Meaningful Connections" at around 3:30 pm on the same day.
Professor Tateishi is also a board member of the Japan Federation of IT Organizations (IT Federation), of which Wataru Hasegawa, President of KCG Group, serves as Representative Director and First Vice President, and a Representative Director of the Internet Content Safety Association, Japan.In 2023, School on Internet Governance (SIG) Japan will be established on campus to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Kyoto Computer Gakuin and the 20th anniversary of Kyoto University of Information Sciences.Various events were held in conjunction with the international conference "Internet Governance Forum 2023 (IGF2023)" in Kyoto, and Professor Tateishi gave a number of lectures on topics such as information education in Japan.
