Confirmation of the Safety of Current Students and Alumni Following the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake.

Due to the earthquake, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics and Kyoto Computer Gakuin have set up emergency response headquarters and continue to confirm the safety of alumni, including graduates.All current students and faculty members are confirmed to be safe.

We ask all alumni to check on the safety of their friends, and if your safety is unknown, please contact the Tohoku University office (Tel: 075-681-6332).

In addition, the university plans to provide all possible assistance, including financial aid, to students who are scheduled to enroll in the university this April.We will provide information on how to apply for the above in due course.

We pray for the souls of the victims of the earthquake and sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the afflicted areas.

Huge earthquake and the tsunami hit the north east part of Japan on March 11th, 2011. We pray for the people who have been affected.

The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) has established an emergency headquarters.

We confirmed current students and their immediate families, our Professors, staff's immediate families are safe. We continue to confirm the safety of our alumni and their families.


We express our deepest condolences to those who were suffered during the Great East Japan Earthquake.

After the earthquake, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics and the Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics, the Headquarters for Emergency Countermeasures, the uninterrupted comprehensive business student, alumni safety.We have now confirmed that all students and all teaching staff are safe.
