Kyoto Prefecture's core human resources development course opens at KCGI

On November 1, "Web Site Production Course", a vocational training course (core human resource development course) to support job seekers' re-employment by Kyoto Prefecture, started at KCGI Kyoto Station Satellite.The lectures will last for 90 days until March 29, 2013, for a total of 360 hours.

The objectives of the program are to: (1) develop human resources who can strategically design websites and negotiate with vendors for their production; and (2) develop personnel who have a broad knowledge of website utilization and strategy.KCGI faculty members, who are experts in IT, provide careful guidance.

The lecture contents are as follows.

▽Lectures (including exercises) = Internet, network basics, web programming basics to applications, web business, strategy and marketing, customer, procurement and business management methods for IT use, statistical and analytical methods, project management techniques, team activities and communication skills training

Practical training (including lectures and explanations): Web programming basics to applications (HTML5, PHP, JavaScript), site design and construction, database, user interface development (for multi-devices such as smartphones and tablet devices)
