佐久間聡一さん,池村佳子さん,多川響子KCGI教授による「ピアノトリオコンサート」(2026年5月29日,">The Kyoto Computer Guraduate Institute of Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) held the first and second parts of the "Piano Trio Concert" on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the 6th floor concert hall of KCGI Kyoto Ekimae Satellite School, featuring the violinist Soichi Sakuma, who is active in a wide range of music, the cellist Yoshiko Ikemura, who is performing in Japan and overseas, and the international pianist Kyoko Tagawa, a professor at KCGI.In the second part, all those who understand and cooperate with the educational activities of the University are also invited.On a refreshing day in early summer, students and invited guests enjoyed a light performance.

Mr. Sakuma graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music and also studied in Hanover, Germany, where he was a contract member of the New Japan Philharmonic, principal of the Osaka Philharmonic, guest conductor of the Kammer Philharmonie Bremen in Germany, and first concertmaster of the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra.He is currently active as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest concertmaster.In addition to producing fun and educational programs on YouTube, he is a member of the Pleasure 21 String Quartet, the Ishida Group String Ensemble, the AXIS String Trio, the MIYABI Piano Trio, and the Duo Deyuo.
Ms. Ikemura graduated from Nishinomiya High School in Hyogo Prefecture with a Bachelor of Music degree, and from Kyoto City University of Arts with a Master of Music degree and a Master of Music degree, respectively.He has received numerous awards, including the Excellence Prize at the 5th Sapporo Junior Cello Competition, the 3rd Prize at the 4th Viva Hall Cello Competition, and the Baroque Saal Prize in 2001.He has lived in Malaysia for four years since 2014, and has energetically performed in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and other cities, including a concert in 2017 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Malaysia Friendship.He is currently a member of After hours session, Ensemble Kobe, and a part-time lecturer at Osaka College of Music.
The deep tones of Yoshiko Ikemura's cello echoed through the hall.">Professor Tagawa graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts with a Bachelor of Music (M.A.: Music) and from the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, Germany.With a wide repertoire ranging from baroque to modern and contemporary music, she has given numerous solo recitals in Japan and abroad, and is active in many other fields, including performing with orchestras and chamber music.She is also known for his successful "Complete Beethoven Piano Sonata Concerts" (2009-2011).She teaches "Introduction to Music" at KCGI.
KCG, KCGI, and other KCG groups incorporate general education courses into their curricula not only to acquire specialized knowledge and skills, but also to cultivate the intelligence and sensitivity of their students.These events are open to both educators and the general public.
