The KCG Group, including Kyoto Computer Guraduate Institute of Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), held a "Tenor and Piano Recital" on June 28, 2025, at the main hall of KCGI Kyoto Ekimae Satellite and KCG Kyoto Ekimae School, featuring Takuya Fujita, a tenor who has performed as a soloist in opera and religious music throughout Japan, and Kyoko Tagawa, a professor at KCGI and an internationally renowned pianist.The audience, which included KCG Group students as well as invited guests such as those who understand and support the educational activities of the university, enjoyed the recital of rich voices and piano music.

After graduating from Shimane University and completing the graduate course at the same university, Mr. Fujita went to Europe.She won the second prize at the Dvorak International Vocal Competition.He made his debut in 2004 as Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata at the Kontse State Opera in Slovakia, and has performed at various opera houses and music festivals throughout Europe, bringing international stage experience.She joined the Fujiwara Opera Company in 2015 and the Japan Opera Association in 2023, and has appeared in many operas, including "The Masked Ball," "Carmen," and "Evening Crane," as well as a rich repertoire of religious works.

Professor Tagawa graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts with a Bachelor of Music (M.A.: Music) and from the Karl Maria von Weber University of Music and Performing Arts, Dresden, Germany.With a wide repertoire ranging from baroque to modern and contemporary music, she has given numerous solo recitals in Japan and abroad, and is active in many other fields, including performing with orchestras and chamber music.He is also known for his successful "Complete Beethoven Piano Sonata Concerts" (2009-2011).KCGI lectures on "Introduction to Music".In 2024, the KCG Group also produced an album of Beethoven piano sonatas to commemorate its 60th anniversary.

The KCG Group incorporates general education courses into its curriculum not only to acquire specialized knowledge and skills, but also to cultivate the intellect and sensitivity of students.These events are open to the public for viewing.
