From July 1st to September 3rd, 2017, the Kyoto Aquarium (Kyoto City Shimogyo Ward) and the Kyoto National Museum (Higashiyama Ward City) will collaborate with KCG groups such as The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG). The event of “Suizokukan and Hakubutsukan” will be held “Draw! We are going to cooperate with "Drawing Workshop".On the day of the event, student staff and faculty members will gather at the aquarium's "Exchange Plaza," where they will make full use of the latest IT (information technology) to help create summer memories for children.
"Draw and film! In the "Drawing Workshop," children who visit the aquarium will have their drawings of fish scanned, placed in original frames created by KCG students, and projected on the wall for commemorative photos.In addition, a photo mosaic of fish pictures submitted by children from all over Japan is also displayed as a poster.
In addition to the workshops conducted by KCG, various events will be held at the "Aquarium and Museum," which aims to have children learn about the background of artworks by comparing the creatures appearing in artworks exhibited at the Kyoto National Museum with those swimming in the Kyoto Aquarium.For more information, please see below.
