
Professor Yoichi Terashita, Vice President of KCGI, will assume the presidency of KCGI on January 1, 2025.The term of office ends March 31, 2028.The decision was made by the Board of Directors of the Kyoto Joho Gakuen Educational Corporation (President Wataru Hasegawa), which operates KCGI.President Terashita will be the 5th president.Vice President Terashita had been serving as Acting President following the death of the fourth President, Shinji Tomita, on September 21, 2024.

Senior faculty member of Kyoto Computer Gakuin, Professor Emeritus of Kanazawa Institute of Technology, former dispatched expert (information engineering) of Japan International Cooperation Agency, former principal of Rakuhoku School of Kyoto Computer Gakuin, former principal of Kyoto Ekimae School of Kyoto Computer Gakuin.He specializes in databases, data warehousing, data mining, and business intelligence (BI).He has been Vice President of Kyoto Institute of Information Science since 2006.
