Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), a group school of Kyoto Computer Gakuin Institute (KCGI), held the "KCG AWARDS 2026 - Student Work Presentation" on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in the 6th floor hall of KCG Kyoto Ekimae Campus, and Mr. Hishinuma from KCGI gave a guest presentation.
On January 29 and 30, KCGI held a master project public hearing where students presented the results of their master projects, which were the culmination of two years of study and research, and "Automatic Detection of Abnormal Hemoglobin Using Raman Spectra, Machine Learning, and Explainable Artificial Intelligence," by Mr. Hishinuma, who specializes in artificial intelligence, was selected as the outstanding work.This guest presentation introduced advanced graduate school research to KCG students in an easy-to-understand manner, and was helpful to them as they considered their future career paths.The judges commented, "This is a very useful research project that we hope will be realized, and we hope that you will continue your efforts.Ms. Hishinuma balances work and study as a working student.This project is directly related to his current work, and he said he would like to continue his research with a view to commercialization in the future.
The "KCG AWARDS" is an event where KCG students present the works they have developed and produced as the culmination of their studies and research over the past year. 5 groups selected for excellence in the "Project Seminar Presentation" in early February present their results in a presentation format.Six judges from the IT industry were in charge of the competition, and all of the entries were highly evaluated as ambitious and of a high level year after year.
