Introduction of Projects Completed in 2008

At The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), in the second year of the second year, we will work on a course completion project that can be called the culmination of knowledge acquired so far.The project for the completion of the course has the same significance as a master's thesis in a conventional research graduate school in terms of the awarding of degrees.

Agreement with City College of Dalian University of Technology, China, to Promote Joint Educational Programs

On January 18, 2009, KCGI and City Institute of Dalian University of Technology in China signed an agreement on joint educational programs.In the future, we plan to accept students from the City College of Dalian University of Technology and train them as highly-skilled professionals who are proficient in Japanese and IT.

KCGI Establishes New Interest-Free Scholarship Program as an Emergency Measure

As an emergency measure due to the recent severe economic downturn, KCGI has decided to expand its academic assistance by establishing a new scholarship program in fiscal year 2009.KCG is also planning to establish a similar scholarship program.There are two types of new scholarship programs, both of which, like KCG's scholarship programs, provide interest-free loans for tuition and other expenses, with repayment beginning after graduation (at least 20,000 yen per month).Open to both new and current students.
