2012 Degree Conferral and Graduation Ceremony "Cherish Your Ties with Our University

The 2012 The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) degree award ceremony and the Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) graduation ceremony were held on March 20, 2013 at the Kyoto University of Information Sciences Kyoto Ekimae Satellite Grand Hall.On this day, our 50th anniversary of the founding of the university was celebrated, and our graduates left the university.

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) and the 10th anniversary of The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), a commemorative lecture "What Google is trying to do and the new horizon of ICT" will be held at KCG Kyoto Ekimae School on April 13 (Sat.) from 14:00.

MZ-80K" became a Heritage of Information Processing Technology.5th aircraft type at KCG Museum

The Sharp MZ-80K personal computer that The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) and Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) are preserving and exhibiting at Kyoto Ekimae Campus was selected by the Information Processing Society of Japan as a "Certified Equipment" of the 2012 "Information Processing Technology Heritage" and received certification on March 6, 2012.This is the fifth system from the University, following the "TOSBAC-3400" and "OKITAC 4300C System" that received the nation's first certification in 2008, the "NEAC-2206" in 2010, and the "NEAC System 100" in 2011.

A group of developers of owned machines visited the KCG archives.

On Wednesday, March 6, former employees of JBCC Corporation, who are involved in computer design and development, visited the "KCG Museum" at Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) Kyoto Ekimae School, which houses many actual historical computers and has been certified as the first "Distributed Computer Museum" by the Information Processing Society of Japan.They were involved in the development of Toshiba's TOSBAC-1100 and TOSBAC-1200, both of which are in the museum's collection, and came to the museum to see once again the actual machines they were passionate about in their youth.
