Kyoto College of Automotive Technology becomes KCG Group.Collaboration between traditional schools

Kyoto College of Automotive Technology, which has been training and producing auto mechanics for a quarter of a century and has the longest tradition in Kyoto, has decided to join the KCG Group, which includes Kyoto Computer Gakuin College, which established Japan's first automotive control department in 2004, through collaboration.The school has recently begun recruiting students under a new structure as a special training school.

Fujitsu's Yuji Oinaga's lecture on the supercomputer "K computer" to be held on May 10

On Friday, May 10, “Supercomputer“ Kyo ”10 Petaflops” by Yuji Tomonaga, General Manager of Next-Generation Technical Computing Development Division, Fujitsu Limited, will be the sixth installment of the 50th anniversary lecture of the KCG Group. Mr. Oinaga talked about the technical aspects of the K computer, which was jointly developed by RIKEN and Fujitsu and achieved the world's highest computing performance in 2011.

Executives from the National Police Academy visited KCG

On April 11, the Special Investigation Training Center of the National Police Academy visited Kyoto Computer Gakuin Kyoto Ekimae Campus as part of their training.

The students listened to an explanation of the DotKyoto program and the educational activities the university is conducting to prevent students from being involved in cyber crimes at educational institutions, such as education on Internet morals and information security.

The 50th anniversary celebration will be held on Saturday, June 1.
