Chorus Circle U-Choir at Kyoto Computer Gakuin University, Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG Group) has recently recorded an English version of the lyrics and composition “Kimi wa Hana I Kaze” written by Mr. Shimpei Umehara. Uploaded and distributed to the world.This song is a new song by Umehara, a singer-songwriter known for “fold cranes”, and was written for the U-Choir premiere and distribution plan.
In February this year, U-Choir distributed a video of “Kimi wa Hana I Kaze” in Japanese and Chinese to the world via the Internet.This English version will be delivered in Japanese and Chinese, followed by new English translations, U-Choir, students including parents and international students, faculty, and other universities. About 100 people, including the chorus club and general choir, gathered under the direction and guidance of Yohei Kashimura.
“You are a flower, I am a wind” has the subtitle, “If you open a flower of talent, I will be the wind that carries the seeds of that flower,” and the lyrics say “History did not always give up.” “You, become a bridge that connects the world”, “Love, deliver to the world beyond words,” and so on.
This is a mixed choir consisting of Japanese students at Kyoto Information Graduate University, Kyoto Computer Gakuin, international students from China, faculty and staff.Through chorus, international exchanges are conducted to learn about the beauty of Japanese language, Japanese mind, and Chinese culture across borders and language barriers.
