The point
In recent years, the term diagnostic imaging has become popular. This is because the development of medical imaging equipment, starting with X-ray photography, has made it possible for doctors to perform diagnosis and treatment by inspecting (observing) the internal information of the human body from the outside.Recently, high-definition 3D human body data has been acquired and stored in a computer as a digital human body, making it possible to perform measurements and processed displays in real time.We will describe the basic concept of image data processing and extraction of diagnostic data from those results, which are the basis of these, and then show application examples using heart-related images. It also touches on issues that need to be resolved in the future.
