Two-wheeled robot explodes on the circuit-ET Robocon 2011 Kansai region conference (organized by the Embedded Systems Technology Association) on the theme of technology education in the field of embedded software will be held at the Kyoto Information Institute University Kyoto Ekimae Satellite Large Hall on September 18 It was openedThe main feature of the tournament is a competition where two-wheeled robots that run autonomously run on a predetermined course and compete for clearing time and obstacles. The hardware of the robot was the same as that specified (inverted pendulum using Lego Mindstorms NXT) and competed for the level of software to be incorporated. The Kansai Regional Convention was supported by KCGI and KCG in the form of “special cooperation / cooperation”.

Twenty-four teams participated in the competition from Kansai 1 yen.The “Kyoto Curry Gourmet.edu” team also participated from our university.Unfortunately, the qualifying did not pass, but warm applause was given to the good fight. The team consists of four students: Shigeto Okuda, a first-year student at KCGI, Yusuke Kawachi, a graduate of the program, Muneki Urakami, a fourth-year student at a computer amusement course (currently a game department), KCG Information Department, and Mr. Yoyo, a first-year student at KCGI.I have been busy preparing for my busy study, but I was disappointed that “adjustment was not enough due to lack of testing”.

After the competition, a model workshop was held to examine the quality of the software design model, and executive committee members including Keiji's associate professor Koji Emi, who served as the executive committee chair, reviewed the models.Together with the results of the competition and evaluation of the model, four teams decided to participate in the championship competition (national competition) held in Yokohama in November.
