Message

Society has been greatly affected by the development of information technology. Unlike things, “information“ does not disappear from your hands even if you give it to someone else (or tell them about it).The concept of “sharing information” is a way of actively utilizing this characteristic. In other words, information only has value when it is shared.

Information, along with matter and energy, constitute the three pillars of the world. It is now a matter of the utmost importance for all of us to understand this concept of information and to think about the future of society.

In reality, information is represented in digital form. The information society is a society in which this information is spread throughout the world via the infrastructure of computers and networks. Since this social infrastructure has only been in place for the past 10 years or so, it is natural that people still do not fully understand what information is and how to use and utilize it, and this has led to various social problemsA long time ago, the term “information revolution” became popular, and now it seems as if it has already ended, but historically speaking, the Industrial Revolution took about 100 years. It takes about that long for people to fully master new technologies, change their lives, and become happy. Information is instantaneous, but people do not change so easily. The information revolution is not over yet.

The most important task for young people today is to study the fundamentals of information, to understand the essence of the future society, and to play an active role in it.

Let's study together.
