My area of expertise is in art production. When I think about what art is, there is an article that I will never forget and that is one of the reasons why I believe in art. It's about a shopping bag lady who stays in the free space area of a museum.A shopping bag lady is a female vagrant who carries all her belongings in a shopping bag, and the museum is her shelter because it protects her physical safety and preserves her self-esteem.While there are various circumstances that brought her to her current situation, when she sits in this museum, she can think to herself how she is now sits in a refined place and maintains a sense of self.

What does it mean to maintain a sense of self, to be refined?I believe that the answer can be found in the experience of facing and empathizing with the expression of the artist's thoughts and feelings that can be seen through his/her works.Empathy that traverses time and region, the imagination of foreign sensations, and the feeling of surprise can also be a process of affirming one's own "here and now".I saw the meaning of art in that the museum was a place where one could protect one's self-esteem in an unwilling situation.

On the other hand, in terms of shaping the work, tools and techniques have a great deal to do with it. They truly represent the times. This is because the appearance of new tools and technologies changes the way we see the world, not to mention the shape of the finished work.Or maybe it's the world's demands that give rise to technology. In any case, "technology," which is inseparable from the times, creates a vision of those times.

In this age of AI, information, and technology, how will people's worldviews change? What does the world look like to those of you who study cutting-edge technology?Expectations are high for the arrival of new sensibilities and possibilities of expression. At the intersection of the "here and now" of eras, regions, and cultures of each individual, I would like to convey the present towards a future together with you as the creator and viewer of the work.
