To access the latest information in the information technology (ICT) field, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics is a member of the Electronic Libraries of the American Society for Information Technology (Association for Computing Machinery) and the Information Processing Society (IPSJ). It provides full-text access to a large number of academic journals, mainly the publications of each academic society, and many of them have back issues dating back several 10 years. In addition, a system has been established to promote research and studies using the Internet document retrieval system such as the "academic information network" of the National Institute of Informatics.
