Message

I have been involved in research and education mainly in the fields related to real-world information network systems and system modeling, such as system design and control methods for ensuring the service quality of a wide variety of information networks, efficient resource management with the system performance analysis and numerical evaluation, system optimization.

For example, one of my fields of expertise, queuing theory and its network applications, adaptive resource management in networks, requires the establishment of an adaptive resource management system that maximizes the potential transmission speed and quality capabilities of various information networks while maintaining the quality of different communication services and reducing energy consumption and costs. To demonstrate the effectiveness and rationality of a newly proposed system, it is necessary to theoretically analyze and numerically evaluate the stochastic behavior of traffic on the network based on system modeling, and compare the performance with conventional systems. In this case, we make full use of mathematical methods such as traffic theory and Markov process theory, as well as optimization methods, algorithms, approaches, and simulation techniques. I am also conducting research into solving a variety of regional problems, such as building a multi-functional support system that uses algorithms employing mathematical methods to extract and disseminate cloud-based web information, and am developing initiatives that benefit society through the application of various information and communication technology.

At our university, I would like to utilize my experience in education and research to cultivate applied information technology specialists who have the high level of practical ability, creativity, and humanity required by global companies to open-up the future of the information society.
