Become IT engineers with practical applications in the real world by identifying appropriate information.

If you want to know something, you can get a lot of information by searching on the Internet. However, the reality is that it is not easy to judge the value of the information. In order to extract useful and reliable information, it will be necessary to constantly strive to identify the essence from various perspectives.

My specialty is image processing (image processing and display). For example, in order to extract information required for diagnosis and treatment from image data captured at medical sites, we have been developing methods to process and execute on a computer what seems to be easily done by human senses, such as automatic extraction of internal organs and blood vessels and display of diagnostic information, correction of scratches in photographic images, and image correction emphasizing sensitivity.

If you don't set intention to extract the right information, you will be drowned in noise or false information and cannot reach the truth. I am looking forward to seeing the appropriate information and the graduates of IT engineers who can apply it in the real world.
