Chief Administrative Officer (President)
This position supervises the institution as a whole and assumes ultimate responsibility for research activities and the management of competitive funds. Appropriate leadership shall be exercised by the General Manager and Compliance Promotion Manager so that they can operate and manage research activities and competitive funds with responsibility.
Supervisor (Vice-President)
This position assists the Chief Administrative Officer and has substantial responsibility and authority to supervise the institution as a whole in the management and management of research activities and competitive funds, etc.
Compliance Promotion Officer (Principal)
This position has substantial responsibility and authority for research activities and operation and management of competitive funds, etc. for each department.

Code of Conduct on Research Activities and Use of Public Research Funds

In order to fulfill the social mission and responsibilities of our school, The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics has established the following code of conduct for all persons involved in research activities and the use of public research funds (hereinafter referred to as "faculty member of the school").

  1. Faculty/Staff members of KCGI must be aware that public research funds are funded by taxpayers' money. They should always make proper use of such funds, and endeavor to contribute to society through research activities.
  2. The faculty and staff of KCGI shall comply with laws, regulations, and rules relating to research activities and the use of public research funds, and shall not engage in any misconduct or improper use of research funds.
  3. Faculty/Staff members of KCGI must actively participate in research activities and study sessions on the handling of public research funds, etc. both inside and outside the school, and endeavor to acquire knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and to understand usage rules.
  4. If a faculty member of KCGI becomes aware of any misconduct or misuse of public research funds related to research activities within the school, he or she must promptly report such misconduct or misuse to the reporting desk.
