Information has value and must be protected for this very reason. Information incidents happen every day, ranging from targeted dissemination of misinformation to misuse and theft of information. Information security helps to combat incidents involving information.
The information security course at KCGI focuses on both knowledge and practical application in practice. That combination of qualities contributes effectively to getting and keeping information safe. And to being able to continue to make well-informed decisions based on the right information.
