Message

I specialize in the creation and research of play animation, focusing my teaching on innovative practices in play animation and character design. My goal is to fuse traditional Chinese theatrical arts with modern animation technology to create a new art form.

As a member of the Chinese Animation Society and president of the Beijing Pastel Painting Research Association, I have been involved in the creation of animation art and the transmission of traditional culture for many years. At the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, we established a unique opera animation education system, focusing on equipping students with the ability to transform opera elements into animation and develop character design skills. These works have received numerous international awards.

In my creative work, I have integrated traditional Chinese decorative elements into animation, creating a distinct theatrical animation style with a vivid ethnic flavor.Additionally, through the Beijing Powder Painting Research Society, they are exploring traditional painting techniques, bringing new artistic vitality to theatrical animation.

Currently, the animation industry has a significant opportunity to creatively transform traditional culture.I focus on integrating traditional dramatic aesthetics with contemporary animation language, emphasizing the educational principle of “expressing the divine through form.”Through this, students will acquire animation creation techniques while gaining a deep understanding of the essence of traditional culture.

Going forward, we aim to collaborate with professionals in the animation industry to explore new avenues for the development of play-based animation, cultivate animation talent with cultural confidence, and contribute to the nationalization of animation art.
