I conducted research on the topic “Evaluation Methods for Beef Heifer” during my undergraduate and graduate studies. This research uses the FORTRAN programming language to calculate the genetic potential of cows using a computer from the perspective of statistical genetics.I used to visit the library to search for any necessary literature, and it was during this time that I encountered the technique of “information retrieval."I truly realized the convenience and brilliance of a search system that finds relevant literature simply by entering keywords.
I joined Kinokuniya Bookstore, the Japanese distributor for book information retrieval, driven by a desire not only to use the information retrieval system but also to help more people learn about it.Working in Tokyo, New York, Sapporo, and other locations around the world, I developed an international perspective while actively conducting information searches. I gained insights into libraries and led teams as a leader in each location.
Moreover, since childhood, I have not only listened to music but also played instruments and conducted, always staying in touch with music. Based on these experiences, I teach courses in Library and Informatics, Leadership Theory, and Contemporary Music Theory.Through these classes, I hope to support everyone's learning.
