メッセージ

私には,最高水準の教育に影響を与えたいという願望があります。そのために,ダイナミックな学習経験や知性,学問的卓越性を活かすコンピュータや情報科学に関する多くの授業を設計・指導したいと考えています。私は競争の激しい学問・研究分野で働く中で,実践的な高等教育レベルの教授法とカリキュラムづくりのスキルと深い洞察力を手に入れました。

私は自らの教育哲学や方法論を通じて,教室での多様性への取り組みを再確認し,協力し合う学びの環境を育みます。鍵となる狙いは,調査,議論,批判的思考,論理的推論や率直性を通じて,学生のみなさんが自分の才能に気づき,優秀な成績を収めるよう動機づけることです。また,自立,社会的一体性,集団への関わり,そしてリーダーシップなどの様々な活動を通じ,本学での学習目標をぜひ達成してほしいと思います。

私は,これまでの対面式の教育とは異なり,eリテラシーの仮想遠隔手段(同期型遠隔学習)への適応に興味を持っています。また,学生たちに重要な主題を伝え,学習内容と講義資料を早い段階で提供するために,ブレンデッドラーニングとデジタルマルチメディア技術の使用も重視しています。もう一つの教育的探究として,私は大規模オープンオンラインコース(MOOC)と同様の,オンラインで提供するライブまたは非同期の最新のコースワークを設計しています。

社会と人類に利益をもたらすために,私は幅広い専門技術と最高度の研究プロジェクトを実践に取り入れ,様々な画期的な概念やテクノロジーのナビゲート/合理化に努めています。最終的な目標は,現実世界の課題を解決するための基となる最先端の独自の研究プロトタイプを,学生のみなさんが構築,開発・実装し,展開できるようサポートすることです。
