Next Generation Agricultural Informatics -Agriculture x ICT = Innovation-

"Next-generation agriculture" which changes the ideal way of production, distribution, and consumption of vegetables by multiplying conventional agriculture with different goods and services is attracting widespread attention.This course introduces the latest examples of "Agriculture × ICT”, such as Fujitsu's cloud service "Akisai", which provides and shares information needed by farmers, and global trends in ICT-controlled "plant factory” and looks at future agriculture.
